Have you ever wondered why people long so much to be able to play an instrument? Whether it be the guitar, the piano, the organ, or drums, or WHATEVER, music moves the soul. It is an expression of the human spirit. I'm not trying to sound weird, but it's true. Let's take singing for example. When a person sings with spirit, that is, with all their soul, it moves the listeners to join in more attentively. Such is a musician who plays his, or her, instrument of choice with soul.
A legendary musician once said that his concerts were like church, and he knew that his singing was moving their soul. We can move ourselves, and others, with the music we sing and play. Now this can be for good or for bad, but we're not here to discuss that right now. The issue here is that music is a great expression of what we sometimes can't express otherwise. It gives us an avenue, whether it's in our bedroom, living room, or in a public setting, to express what's really inside of our hearts for others to hear.
